Rochdale’s culinary extravaganza, Street Eat, is making its highly anticipated return to the Town Hall Square on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Organized by Rochdale Business Improvement District (BID), this beloved food festival promises a delectable fusion of the town’s finest gastronomic delights, accompanied by free live music performances.
The event boasts an impressive lineup of food and drink vendors, blending well-established favorites with exciting newcomers. Among the esteemed participants are Bombay Brew, The Flying Horse Hotel, The Baum, Vicolo Del Vino, The Empire, Vinesteins, The Treehouse Bar, Our Gracie’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, Bank Top Farm, Mason’s Creations, Pad Thai Street Food, Brew Box, Cake Loves Cakes, D’Ale House, and Keep It Sweet. Notably, making its debut appearance at Street Eat is the team behind The Martlet Kitchen, the eagerly awaited restaurant set to open its doors later in the year within the newly restored town hall.
The festivities extend beyond mere culinary delights, with a plethora of free activities and rides available for children. From the nostalgia of a Victorian carousel to the whimsy of Punch and Judy shows, bumper cars, and enchanting face painting, there’s something to captivate every young attendee. For the adults, bars will be on hand to complement the culinary journey, while a music stage, hosted by Di Lynham from Happy Radio UK, promises hours of entertainment for all ages.
The musical lineup is equally enticing, featuring the melodic stylings of acoustic guitarist Edward Jamil, the harmonious tunes of popular duo Shenanigans, the electrifying performances of Rochdale Music Service Rock School, and the uplifting melodies of The Youth Choir, among others.
