Whisky Set to be a Festive Favorite Once More

This year, whisky is anticipated to hold its status as a beloved choice during the festive period. The holiday season has long had a strong connection with whisky, whether it’s for celebratory drinks among friends and colleagues or a special dram on Hogmanay.

Though there are numerous pub and bar patrons who enjoy a dram throughout the year, brand owners believe that the festive season will once again see an increase in interest. Iain Forteath, master blender at Angus Dundee Distillers, the company responsible for the Tomintoul and Glencadam distilleries, noted, “The festive season offers numerous opportunities for social events, ranging from office Christmas parties to family get-togethers, during which whisky tasting and cocktails become more prevalent.”
