Reason for Recall
The recall was initiated after Mauna Loa’s internal quality control identified that a batch, produced by a third-party co-manufacturer, contained undeclared almonds and cashews. This oversight can lead to severe or life-threatening allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to these nuts. No illnesses have been reported to date.
Consumer Guidance
Consumers with almond or cashew allergies are advised not to consume the affected products. The items can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. For further information, contact Mauna Loa’s Customer Service at 1-888-255-5998, available Monday through Friday.
