Trolli is expanding its sour candy range with a new offering aimed at delivering a “sensory snacking adventure.” The company officially introduced its Sour Brite Squad on May 6, after a soft rollout in late 2024. The new gummy candy is now available at retailers across the country.
The Sour Brite Squad features neon colors and a chewy texture similar to the popular Sour Brite Crawlers but introduces new shapes with ridged textures designed to enhance the sensory experience. The candy also boasts bold berry and citrus flavors, including Blackberry-Lime, Strawberry-Lemonade, and Raspberry-Orange, offering a balance of sour and sweet.
Early reviews have been positive, with one reviewer rating the candy an “8 out of 10,” highlighting the fun texture and variety of shapes. Another reviewer expressed love for the flavor combinations.
Jessica Hunt, senior associate brand manager at Trolli, said in a statement, “Following the success of Sour Electric Crawlers, the Sour Brite Squad is more than just a new product; it’s a statement. We’re pushing the boundaries of what consumers expect from Trolli by creating candy experiences that actively jolt the senses.”
Trolli’s Sour Brite Squad is available in three sizes—4.25 oz, 6.3 oz, and 12.3 oz—with prices ranging from $2.39 to $5.39.
