KFC is expanding its menu this spring with the return of a fan favorite and the debut of a new sweet treat.
On Monday, the fried chicken chain announced that it will bring back its popular Chicken & Waffles entrée. In addition, KFC is introducing Strawberry & Crème Pie Poppers, a new dessert inspired by seasonal flavors.
The Strawberry & Crème Pie Poppers are bite-sized pastries filled with a blend of strawberry and cream, wrapped in a flaky crust, according to the company. While the new item is not the Oreo collaboration some fans had hoped for, KFC describes it as a “sweet newcomer.”
Fans may recognize the concept, as KFC released a cherry version of Pie Poppers in fall 2024. Similar to that offering—and hand pies available at other fast-food chains—the Strawberry & Crème Pie Poppers are expected to be available for a limited time.
Customers can purchase the new Pie Poppers in packs of four or ten at participating locations nationwide, while supplies last. KFC is also adding a savory option to the lineup: the new Mashed Potato Pie Poppers, inspired by a former international menu item, also available for a limited time.
