Blue Bell has returned one of its fan-favorite ice cream flavors just in time for summer. The Southern Blackberry Cobbler flavor is now available again for a limited time.

This summer, Blue Bell’s lineup includes last year’s runner-up from the Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament, Cookie Cake ice cream. It also features special wedding-themed flavors like Bride’s Cake and Groom’s Cake. Additionally, Peaches & Homemade Vanilla, made with real peach chunks, has returned for the season.
The Southern Blackberry Cobbler flavor features a creamy base infused with blackberry taste, mixed with flaky pie crust pieces and a blackberry sauce swirl. This combination delivers the flavor of the classic Southern dessert in every half-gallon container. Fans who crave blackberry cobbler à la mode can now enjoy it easily in ice cream form.
Blue Bell shared the news on Instagram, encouraging followers to “savor the sweet moments” with the return of Southern Blackberry Cobbler. Fans responded enthusiastically. One called it “one of my favorites,” while another said, “Now THIS is ice cream.” Many praised it as a “GOATed” (greatest of all time) flavor and “the taste of summer.”
Some users expressed disappointment because Blue Bell products are only sold in 24 states. “I wish it was sold in Oregon because it is one of my favorite flavors!” said one commenter. Another asked the brand to expand to Ohio.
