A new Nerds candy has already made waves before its official launch. The latest variety, Nerds Juicy Gummy Clusters, won the Most Innovative New Product Award in the Gummy category during its debut at the Sweets & Snacks Expo in Indianapolis.
The annual event showcases upcoming products from major brands for 2025 and early 2026. This year, visitors also got a first look at a new Nutella flavor, an updated Crunch bar, Butterfinger’s marshmallow bar, new Keebler cookies, and a special Tic Tac collaboration.
The National Confectioners Association, which hosts the expo, announced the award winners. “The Most Innovative New Product Awards are a celebration of the creativity and ingenuity that keeps people coming back to the candy and snack aisles,” said John Downs, president and CEO of the association. He emphasized how these products help consumers add a sweet or salty treat to both special occasions and everyday life.
According to early descriptions, the Nerds Juicy Gummy Clusters offer a bold strawberry punch flavor, blending the brand’s signature crunchy, gummy, and juicy textures in every bite. The product promises to deliver a “bigger-than-ever candy experience” that fans of Nerds will appreciate.
While the product is now officially announced, a representative for the brand noted that more details, including a release date, will be shared closer to launch. However, it is expected that the new candy will hit shelves by late 2025 or early 2026.
