McDonald’s is once again teaming up with Squishmallows, bringing the popular plush toys back to Happy Meals for a limited time. The announcement has sparked excitement among collectors and fans, many of whom are eager to get their hands on the new lineup.
Known for their soft, squeezable designs, Squishmallows have become sought-after collectibles. Their last appearance in Happy Meals was two years ago. Now, McDonald’s promises an even more adorable collection, featuring 12 different Squishmallows, including a brand-new Intergalactic Axolotl named Halley.
Each Happy Meal will come with the usual menu items and one Squishmallow toy. The toys also include a character hang tag, which shares the name and a short description of each Squishmallow. Additionally, every toy comes with a scannable code that unlocks an interactive game experience for fans.
“Inside each Happy Meal box, you will find your classic McDonald’s order of choice, along with one of 12 adorable Squishmallows,” the company said. “You won’t want to miss out on this limited-time run.”
Fans have quickly taken to social media to share their excitement. One person wrote, “Getting a Happy Meal for lunch today,” while another added, “I’m running to get the new toys.” Others shared their favorite characters, with comments like “so excited! I’ll be hunting for the purple bat!” and “They all look so cute.”
