Lunchables is expanding its popular line of ready-to-eat meals with a new product aimed at solving a common lunchtime challenge for parents: frozen peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that require thawing.
The brand’s latest release, Lunchables PB&J, offers a crustless peanut butter sandwich paired with a dipping cup of jelly — either grape or strawberry — creating a customizable and mess-free version of the classic sandwich. The new product is designed to appeal to children with specific taste preferences and picky appetites.
Unlike other PB&J options on the market, such as Uncrustables, Lunchables PB&J is ready to eat straight from the refrigerator, eliminating the usual 30 to 60-minute thawing time.
“Lunchables PB&J solves the No. 1 pain point for parents: thaw time,” the brand said in a statement. “It’s the first-ever no-thaw, crustless PB&J that’s ready-to-eat straight from the fridge.”
The product is now available at select retailers across the country, with a suggested retail price of $2.49 per pack.
