The recall impacts products with use-by dates between August 30, 2025, and April 15, 2026. The plastic pieces found in the hashbrowns range from 1mm to 8mm in size, posing a potential risk of injury. While the recall is classified as Class II, indicating a low risk of health effects, consumers are advised to avoid eating the affected products and to return them to the store where purchased.
As of now, there have been no reports of injuries or illnesses linked to the contamination. The recall affects 34,801 cases of the product.
