Sonic has officially confirmed the release of its highly anticipated Unicorn Dreams Slush, following a wave of excitement after early leaks last month.
In late March, insiders revealed that a colorful and “delicious” new slush was expected to arrive at participating Sonic locations soon. Although details were limited at the time, leaked images quickly sparked fan enthusiasm.
Now, Sonic has shared a full description of the new menu item. The Unicorn Dreams Slush features a bright pink cotton candy-flavored slush, swirled with blue raspberry bursting bubbles. It is topped with whipped cream and finished with shimmering pink cotton candy sugar crystals.
In addition to the slush, Sonic also revealed a surprise: collectible horn-shaped straws that glow in the dark or change colors. Called the “Legendary Wish-Awakening Unicorn Horn Straw,” these straws come in four styles:
- White-to-Pink Color-Changing
- Green-to-Blue Color-Changing
- Neon Green Glow-in-the-Dark
- Frost Blue Glitter
Each Unicorn Dreams Slush includes one of the special straws, while supplies last. The slush will be available through June at participating locations, starting at $3.99, although prices may vary.
Customers eager to try the new drink can order through the Sonic app starting April 28. The nationwide launch at all participating locations is set for May 5.
