Hershey’s is expanding beyond traditional candy with a new protein-packed collaboration. On Tuesday, ONE Protein Bar, owned by The Hershey Company since 2019, unveiled its latest co-branded flavor: Hershey’s Double Chocolate. This marks the second product in their partnership, following the popular Reese’s ONE Protein Bar.
The new bar delivers 18 grams of protein per serving, surpassing many competitors. It also contains just 1 gram of sugar—lower than the Reese’s flavor’s 3 grams—and includes 5 grams of fiber. Made with real Hershey’s cocoa and chocolate chips, the bar promises “double the rich, chocolate experience” to fuel active lifestyles. The product is gluten-free and Kosher certified.
Deanna Lyons, ONE’s brand manager, described the bar as “a sweet, satisfying and unforgettable flavor experience,” adding it is “not just another convenient and nutritious snack.” She noted the brand’s focus on keeping fans energized with “double the iconic Hershey’s flavor.”
Professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau has endorsed the new bar, saying, “When I’m out on the course, I want something that’s tasty, fast, and keeps me going. The ONE x Hershey’s Double Chocolate flavored protein bar nails it!” He added that it offers “the best of both worlds”—great taste and essential fuel to stay focused.
The new protein bar is currently available in select markets and online, with a nationwide release planned soon.
To celebrate the launch, Hershey’s and ONE challenged DeChambeau to replicate his viral hole-in-one shot. If successful, fans who sign up for the contest starting Monday, June 16 at noon EST will receive a free ONE x Hershey’s Double Chocolate protein bar, while supplies last.
