Wendy’s is turning up the sour this summer with three bold new drink options, available for a limited time only through its Coca-Cola Freestyle machines.
The fast-food chain is the exclusive launch site for Powerade’s latest Xtra Sour series, featuring three new flavors: Cherry Kicker, Grape Shocker, and Peach Pucker. The drinks are described as more extreme than last year’s initial sour lineup.
- Cherry Kicker delivers a bold, vibrant cherry flavor with tart notes and subtle sweetness.
- Grape Shocker offers a juicy grape profile with an intense sour twist.
- Peach Pucker is said to be crisp, tangy, and packed with a “mouthwatering burst of SOUR!”
Each flavor will be available in both full-sugar and sugar-free versions, but only through Wendy’s Freestyle soda fountains—for now.
According to the brand, Powerade’s Xtra Sour drinks will be released in stores nationwide starting in July 2025, but Wendy’s customers can try them early while supplies last.
The chain is encouraging fans to taste-test the trio before they disappear—or before they hit retail shelves—so they’ll know which flavors are worth stocking up on later.
