Special K continues to innovate its cereal offerings with new flavors, and its latest release is a Peaches & Créme variety just in time for the summer season.
While the original Special K flavor remains a fan favorite, the brand has built a strong following with other popular varieties like Red Berries, Vanilla Almond, and Chocolatey Delight. Seasonal releases such as Pumpkin Spice, Maple Brown Sugar Crunch, and Cinnamon Apple also add to its appeal. Other flavors over the years have included Cranberry Almond, Strawberries & Chocolate, and Raspberry.
Kayla Simonsen, known on Instagram as @the_cerealqueen, shared her thoughts on the new Peaches & Créme flavor. She posted that peach-flavored products are trending this season, noting the absence of peach options in cereals in recent years. “So many peach products are rolling out, but in terms of cereal, this is the only one at the moment,” she said. She also mentioned the discontinuation of Peach Cheerios in 2018 and Peach Mango Cheerios in 2023.
Simonsen pointed out that while Special K’s new offering doesn’t include actual fruit, it does feature flakes flavored with peach and complemented by vanilla yogurt clusters. She also noted that while the box doesn’t specify whether it’s a limited edition, the flavor could be available for a limited time. She found the new flavor at Target and expressed her excitement about trying it.
The response from followers on Instagram has been positive, with many expressing interest in trying the new flavor. One user commented, “I think it sounds fantastic! I would try for sure!” Another wrote, “That sounds like a great flavor! I’d give it a try.” Other users were equally enthusiastic, with one saying, “Looks amazing,” and another adding, “I love the sound of these.”
Whether the Peaches & Créme flavor becomes a seasonal staple remains to be seen, but it’s clear that cereal lovers are eager to give it a try.
