OKLAHOMA CITY — Sonic Drive-In is answering fan demands by bringing back two of its most-requested slush flavors—just in time for summer.
Starting Tuesday, May 27, Sonic app users will be the first to access the return of the Watermelon Slush and the Lemonberry Slush. Both frozen drinks will be available nationwide beginning Monday, June 2, for a limited time.
The Watermelon Slush, last offered in 2019, features a sweet, juicy watermelon flavor blended into Sonic’s signature icy slush base. A medium size will start at $2.79, though prices may vary by location.
The Lemonberry Slush, which hasn’t appeared on menus since 2020, combines real strawberries and a splash of fresh lemon. A medium size will start at $3.29.
In addition to the returning drinks, Sonic is introducing a brand-new snack item: Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni Bites. The bites are filled with mozzarella and provolone cheeses, pepperoni, and zesty pizza sauce, all wrapped in a crispy, golden-brown shell.
While fans wait for the slushes and bites to drop, Sonic is also running a special promotion: all shakes will be half-price after 5 p.m. local time for a limited time. Additionally, the whimsical Unicorn Dreams Slush will remain available through June.
Sonic encourages fans to act quickly, as these limited-time offerings are only available while supplies last.
