Starbucks is gearing up for summer with the official launch of its seasonal menu, set to roll out on Tuesday, May 20. The coffee chain has unveiled a lineup of limited-edition items, including a new iced espresso drink and the return of popular berry-themed refreshments.
Leading the menu is the all-new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. Made with Starbucks Blonde Espresso, the drink features a smooth, subtly sweet flavor profile. It’s blended with horchata syrup, combining cinnamon, vanilla, and nutty notes to evoke the classic Latin American beverage. The oatmilk base adds a creamy texture, making it a refreshing yet rich option for summer coffee lovers.
Early tasters, including Parade magazine, describe the drink as sweet but well-balanced, highlighting the strong cinnamon and vanilla flavors.
Also returning this season are the Summer-Berry Refreshers, which made their debut last year and quickly became a customer favorite. These drinks blend raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors, shaken with ice and served over raspberry-flavored pearls. Customers can choose from three bases—water, lemonade, or coconut milk. When made with coconut milk, the drink is known as the Summer Skies Drink.
To complement the drinks, Starbucks is introducing a new dessert item: the Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop. This treat combines strawberry cream cake with buttercream, coated in chocolate icing and decorated with a strawberry-themed design.
Additionally, Starbucks recently launched a new Brown Sugar Cream Cold Foam, described as silky and rich. While this topping is already available, the rest of the summer menu items will officially hit stores on May 20.
With new flavors and returning favorites, Starbucks aims to keep customers cool and satisfied as the summer season begins.
