McDonald’s has officially confirmed the return of the much-loved Snack Wraps on July 10. But the announcement wasn’t just from the company — an employee managing the fast food chain’s social media took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a heartfelt message with fans, thanking them for their efforts in bringing the item back.
The message began, “I don’t usually do this, and I didn’t run this by Brian from legal (sorry, Brian), but I have something to say. Not as McDonald’s, but as the person behind the McDonald’s account.”
The employee explained that social media managers don’t control the menu, and while they could post and engage with fans about the Snack Wrap, they had no direct influence on the decision to bring it back.
“You know who could bring it back? YOU,” they said. “YOU commented under every post, YOU made petitions, YOU asked for it back in the DRIVE-THRU!? YOU tweeted every day for 100 days straight… YOU rallied. You organized. And I saw it all. Thanks to you, the Snack Wrap will be back.”
The message went on to describe how the employee had been rooting for fans from behind the screen. “I cheered you on and made it my mission to never stop fighting for you,” they said. “You created a movement. A movement so powerful that you finally won.”
Ending the note with personal gratitude, the employee said, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Today, I woke up with an even greater feeling of gratitude and pride. It’s the honor of my lifetime to finally say… the Snack Wrap is back. Because of YOU. See you 07.10.2025.”
Fans responded warmly, with comments like “Thanks, I’m crying” and “You dropped this:.” One fan even wrote, “Thank you!!! I will circle the date on my calendar!!!! Long live the Snack Wrap!!!”
The heartfelt post has further fueled excitement for the return of the Snack Wrap, with fans eagerly awaiting the July 10 release.
