Taco Bell has officially brought back fan-favorite Crispy Chicken Nuggets and is expanding its menu with new items featuring this popular protein. The chain is currently testing Crispy Chicken Burritos and Crispy Chicken Tacos, both packed with crispy chicken, purple cabbage, lettuce, pico de gallo, and cheddar cheese. Customers can choose between spicy Ranchero or creamy Avocado Ranch sauce to complement these dishes.
In addition, Taco Bell is introducing a new shareable item called Loaded Steak and Jalapeños Topped Fries. This dish builds on the success of their Nacho Fries by adding grilled marinated steak, molten nacho cheese, creamy jalapeño sauce, and plenty of pickled jalapeños for a spicy kick. It is currently available at select locations in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Crispy Chicken Nuggets, which made a nationwide return earlier this year after selling out quickly in late 2024, are marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and coated in a crispy tortilla-chip breading. Taco Bell plans to make crispy chicken a permanent menu feature by 2026, responding to strong customer demand.
These new Crispy Chicken items and the Loaded Steak and Jalapeños Topped Fries are part of Taco Bell’s broader strategy to innovate its menu with bold flavors and fan favorites. While currently limited to select locations, the chain aims to expand availability and keep Crispy Chicken at the center of its offerings through 2026.
