Rockaway, NJ — Paris Baguette, the global bakery café brand with over 4,000 locations worldwide, is continuing its rapid expansion in North America. The company will open a new bakery café at 321 Mt Hope Ave, Rockaway, NJ, on June 14th, marking its 25th store in New Jersey.
The grand opening will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:00 AM, featuring the local Mayor. The event will include family-friendly activities and free samples throughout the day.
Franchisee Vishal Juneja is leading the Rockaway location. Juneja’s connection to Paris Baguette started with personal family experiences. After years of enjoying the bakery café with his wife and two sons, he was inspired to open his own store. Although the Juneja family lives in Edison, they are closely involved in the Rockaway community.
Previously a Senior Vice President in technology on Wall Street, Juneja shifted his career toward franchising to better align with his personal values. “This opening is incredibly special to me because it’s more than a bakery – it’s a space built on heart, hospitality, and community,” he said. “I’m excited to bring that Paris Baguette magic to Rockaway and to create a place where people feel truly welcome.”
Paris Baguette aims to reach 1,000 locations across the U.S. and Canada by 2030. The brand seeks partnerships with local entrepreneurs who share a passion for community building through quality baked goods and coffee.
Darren Tipton, CEO of Paris Baguette, commented, “We’re on a mission to re-establish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community. We’re excited to see Vishal bring this to life in his local area. In our cafés, we like to say, ‘Happy to see you. Happier to serve you.’ Vishal embodies this spirit.”
