Anheuser-Busch has entered the energy drink market with a bold new product. In partnership with fellow Missouri-based brand 1st Phorm and UFC President Dana White, the beverage giant has unveiled Phorm Energy—a new line of energy drinks aimed at shaking up the category.
The launch comes six months after the companies announced their collaboration. According to a May 28 press release, Phorm Energy was created with a goal to turn “The Lou’s best-kept secret” into a national brand. The drinks are made with natural flavors and caffeine sourced from green tea. They also include electrolytes for hydration and ingredients to support mental focus.
Phorm Energy will debut in four flavors: Blue Blitz, Orange Fury, Screamin’ Freedom, and Grape Smash. Each 16-ounce can contains 200 milligrams of caffeine.
Screamin’ Freedom blends blueberry, cherry, and citrus for a bold flavor. Blue Blitz combines blue raspberry with cotton candy. Orange Fury features a mix of orange soda and sweet orange candy. Grape Smash offers the taste of both grape candy and grape soda.
“With the launch of Phorm Energy, we’re bringing together two American companies from St. Louis and Dana White—united by a shared focus on branding, quality, and innovation,” said Brendan Whitworth, CEO of Anheuser-Busch. “This partnership is built on our shared strengths and the unique cultures that define each company.”
Whitworth added that Anheuser-Busch’s national distribution network will play a key role in bringing Phorm Energy to consumers across the U.S.
The drinks are now available for purchase online for customers 18 and older. Retail distribution is expected to roll out in the coming weeks.
