Costco has introduced a new prepared meal option that’s already gaining praise from shoppers: a Four Meat Pizza served on Roman-style pinsa crust.
The take-and-bake pizza features a San Marzano-style tomato sauce and a blend of cheeses topped with slow-aged pepperoni, Italian sausage, chopped meatballs, and soppressata, a traditional Italian cured meat. The pizza sits on pinsa crust, which is known for its light and chewy texture, similar to flatbread.
The new offering follows the retailer’s launch of a Margherita Pizza last year, which used the same pinsa base. While customers enjoyed the flavor and texture, some felt the price was too high. In contrast, the new meat-loaded version is more affordable, priced at $14.99.
The pizza gained attention online after being featured by the Instagram account @Costcohotfinds. Many followers praised the product in the comments, calling it “super delicious” and highlighting its crispy edges and quality ingredients.
“We got one after seeing the video—it’s so good and worth the price,” one user wrote. Another pointed out the uniqueness of the toppings, especially the inclusion of hot soppressata.
However, not everyone is convinced. Some shoppers argued that the pizza is still expensive compared to options from chains like Domino’s or Little Caesars. One commenter said, “It should be $10 or under if Little Caesars offers the same thing for $12 baked.” Others defended Costco’s version, noting the difference in ingredient quality and the use of pinsa crust, which is not common in most pizza chains.
For busy families looking for a quick dinner option, Costco’s new Four Meat Pizza offers a convenient and satisfying choice. It’s available in the refrigerated section, along with other prepared meals like enchiladas and meatball sandwiches. Shoppers can also take advantage of other grocery deals while avoiding the weekend rush.
