Pop-Tarts is reviving a fan-favorite flavor for the first time in six years as part of a new collaboration with Marvel Studios.
Starting June 9, 2025, Pop-Tarts Frosted Blue Raspberry will return to shelves exclusively at Walmart, just in time to celebrate the upcoming release of Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four: First Steps, which hits theaters July 25. The limited-edition flavor will be available only while supplies last.
The returning pastry features a tangy, sweet blue raspberry filling, similar to the original version discontinued in 2019. This time, however, the frosted treats will showcase one of eight unique designs inspired by the Fantastic Four, including references to the superhero team and their powers.
“These pastries aren’t just tasty—they’re cosmic-powered,” said Leslie Serro, vice president of marketing for Pop-Tarts. “Our collaboration with Marvel Studios is a tribute to our shared 1960s origins. We’re thrilled to bring back the iconic blue raspberry Pop-Tart to celebrate the MCU’s newest heroes.”
In addition to the exclusive flavor, select boxes of Pop-Tarts Frosted Strawberry, Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon, and Frosted S’mores will also feature the themed designs for a limited time at grocery stores nationwide.
Pop-Tarts’ parent company, Kellanova, has also teamed up with Fandango to offer a special movie promotion. Fans who purchase $10 worth of participating Pop-Tarts flavors in a single transaction during June can receive a $5 Fandango Movie Reward, valid toward a ticket to see Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The promotion blends nostalgic flavor with blockbuster excitement, giving fans a sweet way to gear up for one of summer’s most anticipated films.
