To celebrate the first day of summer, Kroger is offering a sweet deal for ice cream lovers. On June 20, the grocery giant will give away 92,000 free pints of ice cream—1,000 for each day of the season.
To claim a free pint, customers simply need to visit FreeKrogerIceCream.com beginning at 12 p.m. EST on June 20. There, they can download a single-use digital coupon. The coupon must be redeemed by Friday, July 4.
The giveaway also coincides with the launch of Kroger’s new Summer in a Pint collection. The limited-edition lineup includes four seasonal flavors: Italian Style Summer Fizz, Fireside Nights, Sandy Shores, and Poolside Tan Lines.
“We’re thrilled to launch the Summer in a Pint collection offering customers a taste of summer paradise—no passport or boarding pass needed,” said Mike Murphy, Group Vice President of Center Store Merchandising at Kroger. “Last year, we were blown away by customer excitement for our free pint offer and this summer we are making it even sweeter.”
