May 21, 2025 – Smucker’s, best known for its fruit spreads and nut-based products, is preparing to introduce two new snack items aimed at expanding its presence beyond the jam and jelly aisle.
The company unveiled its upcoming products—Smucker’s Fruit Twists and Smucker’s Mixed Fruit Snacks—at the 2025 Sweets & Snacks Expo last week. These new treats are expected to arrive in stores by late 2025 or early 2026.
Photos shared by food blogger SnackBetch offer a first look at the packaging. The Fruit Twists appear to be strawberry-flavored, with both natural and artificial ingredients, and feature a “soft and smooth center.” The Mixed Fruit Snacks are plant-based, free of gelatin, and made with apple juice concentrate and other sweeteners. They will be available in a mixed fruit flavor.
Details about the exact release date and which retailers will carry the new products have not been confirmed. However, Smucker’s is expected to distribute them through major national retailers that already stock its other products, including jams, peanut butter, and dessert toppings.
A Smucker’s spokesperson declined to comment when contacted by Parade.
The Sweets & Snacks Expo also featured several other high-profile releases, including two new Butterfinger flavors, a new Nerds Gummy Cluster variety, the return of the Crunch bar, a redesigned Ferrero Rocher product, Dr Pepper-flavored Tic Tacs, and the first new flavor of Nutella in the brand’s history.
